About 36.2 percent of the 542 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Puerto Rico-Carolina in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Carolina conferred 196 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology. Data shows the school gave out 123 bachelor's degrees in Forensic Psychology, followed by 89 bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration and 77 bachelor's degrees in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management.
The university enrolled 3,920 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
