Graduates earn 853 degrees, certificates from Inter American University of Puerto Rico-San German

About 27.1 percent of the 853 degrees and certificates handed out by the Inter American University of Puerto Rico-San German in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in German conferred 125 certificates and 71 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General. Data shows the school gave out 88 bachelor's degrees in Biology/Biological Sciences, General, followed by 65 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 42 bachelor's degrees in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management.

The university enrolled 4,722 students for 2016-17, including 4,031 in undergraduate programs and 691 in graduate programs.
