About 92.4 percent of the 592 degrees and certificates handed out by the Columbia Central University-Caguas in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Caguas conferred 262 associate's degrees and 209 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.
But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 234 associate's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 209 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research and Clinical Nursing, Other and 37 master's degrees in Nursing Education.
The university enrolled 1,540 students for 2016-17, including 1,382 in undergraduate programs and 158 in graduate programs.
