Graduates earn 372 degrees, certificates from Atenas College

About 36.6 percent of the 372 degrees and certificates handed out by the Atenas College in 2016-17 were to students in Nursing Science, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Manati conferred 91 bachelor's degrees and 45 associate's degrees in Nursing Science.

Other popular programs include Physical Therapy/Therapist, Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) and Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer.

The college enrolled 1,005 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
