Graduates earn 11,333 degrees from Ashford University

About 41.1 percent of the 11,333 degrees and certificates handed out by the Ashford University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Diego conferred 3198 bachelor's degrees and 1436 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other. Data shows the school gave out 1070 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other, followed by 849 bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood Education and Teaching and 747 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The university enrolled 41,361 students for 2016-17, including 35,870 in undergraduate programs and 5,491 in graduate programs.
