About 36.7 percent of the 120 degrees and certificates handed out by the Southwestern Christian University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bethany conferred 44 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 27 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General, followed by 21 bachelor's degrees in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management and 18 bachelor's degrees in Theology and Religious Vocations, Other.
The university enrolled 764 students for 2016-17, including 746 in undergraduate programs and 18 in graduate programs.
