Graduates earn 4,876 degrees, certificates from Miami University-Oxford

About 23.3 percent of the 4,876 degrees and certificates handed out by the Miami University-Oxford in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Oxford conferred 1029 bachelor's degrees and 88 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Data shows the school gave out 310 bachelor's degrees in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, followed by 289 bachelor's degrees in Finance, General and 206 bachelor's degrees in Public Relations/Image Management.

The university enrolled 19,697 students for 2016-17, including 16,981 in undergraduate programs and 2,716 in graduate programs.
