Graduates earn 4,555 degrees, certificates from Boise State University

About 18.2 percent of the 4,555 degrees and certificates handed out by the Boise State University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Boise conferred 587 bachelor's degrees and 157 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 299 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 228 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Clinical Sciences, Other and 202 bachelor's degrees in Speech Communication and Rhetoric.

The university enrolled 23,854 students for 2016-17, including 20,186 in undergraduate programs and 3,668 in graduate programs.
