Graduates earn 1,503 degrees, certificates from Bradley University

About 25.8 percent of the 1,503 degrees and certificates handed out by the Bradley University in 2016-17 were to students in Engineering programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Peoria conferred 243 bachelor's degrees and 144 master's degrees in Engineering programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Data shows the school gave out 98 bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, followed by 83 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 78 master's degrees in Computer Science.

The university enrolled 5,598 students for 2016-17, including 4,473 in undergraduate programs and 1,125 in graduate programs.
