Graduates earn 733 degrees, certificates from Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla

About 33.4 percent of the 733 degrees and certificates handed out by the Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Aguadilla conferred 142 associate's degrees and 85 bachelor's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies. Data shows the school gave out 64 bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies, followed by 58 associate's degrees in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training and 58 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

The university enrolled 4,205 students for 2016-17, including 3,964 in undergraduate programs and 241 in graduate programs.
