Graduates earn 543 degrees from University of Puerto Rico-Humacao

About 24.5 percent of the 543 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Puerto Rico-Humacao in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Humacao conferred 133 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Social Work. Data shows the school gave out 73 bachelor's degrees in Social Work, followed by 57 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 46 bachelor's degrees in Accounting.

The university enrolled 4,037 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
