Graduates earn 2,293 degrees, certificates from Universidad del Este

About 32.2 percent of the 2,293 degrees and certificates handed out by the Universidad del Este in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Carolina conferred 244 bachelor's degrees and 238 associate's degrees in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration. Data shows the school gave out 167 bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration, followed by 141 bachelor's degrees in Social Work and 139 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The universidad enrolled 12,401 students for 2016-17, including 11,000 in undergraduate programs and 1,401 in graduate programs.
