Graduates earn 527 degrees, certificates from Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon

About 17.1 percent of the 527 degrees and certificates handed out by the Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Bayamon conferred 74 bachelor's degrees and 10 associate's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Criminalistics and Criminal Science. Data shows the school gave out 48 bachelor's degrees in Criminalistics and Criminal Science, followed by 47 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse and 34 bachelor's degrees in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.

The university enrolled 4,450 students for 2016-17, including 4,328 in undergraduate programs and 122 in graduate programs.
