Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at American University of Puerto Rico, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
Puerto Rico students paid $5,811 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.
Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 159 students received grants or scholarships totaling $863,622.
Including all undergraduates, 805 students used grants or scholarships totaling $4.04 million. Another 121 took out $382,292 in federal student loans.
