Cost of college went up for all students at Escuela Tecnica de Electricidad

Tuition and fees rose 3.9 percent for 2017-18 at Escuela Tecnica de Electricidad, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $9,950 to attend the private for-profit school this year $370 more than the $9,580 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 78 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 87 students received grants or scholarships totaling $514,933.

Including all undergraduates, 353 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.05 million.
