Cost of college went up for all students at Academia Serrant Inc

Tuition and fees rose 1.6 percent for 2017-18 at Academia Serrant Inc, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $8,474 to attend the private for-profit school this year $132 more than the $8,342 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 295 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.09 million.

Including all undergraduates, 566 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.2 million.
