Cost of college went up for all students at Technical Learning Centers Inc

Tuition and fees rose 0.6 percent for 2017-18 at Technical Learning Centers Inc, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

District of Columbia students paid $16,924 to attend the private for-profit school this year $105 more than the $16,819 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 731 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.84 million and 611 students took out student loans totaling more than $4.28 million.

Including all undergraduates, 737 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.84 million. Another 611 took out $4.28 million in federal student loans.
