Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Huertas College

Tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at Huertas College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $6,635 to attend the four-year private for-profit institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Data shows 96 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 238 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.17 million and 6 students took out student loans totaling more than $30,684.

Including all undergraduates, 1,137 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.5 million. Another 204 took out $674,755 in federal student loans.
