Cost of college went down for all students at Atenas College

Tuition and fees fell 6.9 percent for 2017-18 at Atenas College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $6,465 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $480 less than the $6,945 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 194 students received grants or scholarships totaling $1.01 million.

Including all undergraduates, 1,304 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.99 million.
