In-state tuition and fees rose 3.5 percent for 2017-18 at Cameron University, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
Oklahoma residents paid $6,180 to attend the four-year public institution this year $210 more than the $5,970 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 151 percent more than residents this year, or $15,510. Their price tag grew 2 percent from $15,210 in 2016-17.
About 87 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Oklahoma residents. About 10 percent are residents of other states and 3 percent are citizens of other countries.
Data shows 87 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 542 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.62 million and 256 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.35 million.
Including all undergraduates, 3,407 students used grants or scholarships totaling $19.81 million. Another 1,847 took out $13.05 million in federal student loans.
