Tuition and fees rose 5 percent for 2017-18 at Mercyhurst University, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
Pennsylvania students paid $36,320 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,740 more than the $34,580 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 587 students received grants or scholarships totaling $15.18 million and 403 students took out student loans totaling more than $3.49 million.
Including all undergraduates, 2,420 students used grants or scholarships totaling $54.92 million. Another 1,656 took out $11.91 million in federal student loans.
