Cost of college went up for all students at Professional Technical Institution Inc

Tuition and fees rose 1 percent for 2017-18 at Professional Technical Institution Inc, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $10,150 to attend the private for-profit school this year $100 more than the $10,050 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 30 students received grants or scholarships totaling $115,110.

Including all undergraduates, 546 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.44 million.
