Cost of college went up for all students at Liceo de Arte y Tecnologia

Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2017-18 at Liceo de Arte y Tecnologia, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $11,803 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year $254 more than the $11,549 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 694 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.21 million and 103 students took out student loans totaling more than $254,911.

Including all undergraduates, 1,468 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.85 million. Another 296 took out $677,103 in federal student loans.
