Cost of college went up for all students at ICPR Junior College-Mayaguez

Tuition and fees rose 7.2 percent for 2017-18 at ICPR Junior College-Mayaguez, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Puerto Rico students paid $7,010 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year $470 more than the $6,540 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 127 students received grants or scholarships totaling $530,661.

Including all undergraduates, 414 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.11 million.
