At Fort Lewis College, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The four-year public institution in Durango enrolled 3,332 students in fall 2017, including 3,300 in undergraduate and 32 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.
48 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 52 percent are residents of other states.
The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (49 percent) and American Indian or Alaska Native (25 percent).
The school admitted 83 percent of the 4,473 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 19 percent enrolled.
