60 percent of applicants to Lawrence Technological University were admitted for fall 2017

At Lawrence Technological University, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 74 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Southfield enrolled 3,069 students in fall 2017, including 2,191 in undergraduate and 878 in graduate programs, data shows. 45.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

89 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan, and 11 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and Black or African American (6 percent).

The school admitted 60 percent of the 2,173 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 29 percent enrolled.
