74 percent of applicants to Hope College were admitted for fall 2017

At Hope College, 99 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Holland enrolled 3,150 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 1.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

65 percent of undergraduates are residents of Michigan, and 33 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).

The school admitted 74 percent of the 4,377 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 24 percent enrolled.
