76 percent of applicants to University of Mary were admitted for fall 2017

At University of Mary, 82 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Bismarck enrolled 3,396 students in fall 2017, including 2,237 in undergraduate and 1,159 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

46 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Dakota, and 51 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (79 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (4 percent).

The school admitted 76 percent of the 1,146 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 50 percent enrolled.
