32 percent of applicants to University of Puerto Rico-Carolina were admitted for fall 2017

At University of Puerto Rico-Carolina, 92 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 61 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Carolina enrolled 3,792 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 6.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Puerto Rico.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (100 percent).

The school admitted 32 percent of the 3,245 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 76 percent enrolled.
