69 percent of applicants to Inter American University of Puerto Rico-San German were admitted for fall 2017

At Inter American University of Puerto Rico-San German, 87 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in San German enrolled 4,759 students in fall 2017, including 4,115 in undergraduate and 644 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Puerto Rico.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (99 percent).

The school admitted 69 percent of the 1,509 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 94 percent enrolled.
