Universidad Metropolitana enrolls 10,617 undergrads

At Universidad Metropolitana, 67 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 64 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in San Juan enrolled 13,003 students in fall 2017, including 10,617 in undergraduate and 2,386 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Puerto Rico.

The undergraduate student body is comprised of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (100 percent).
