93 percent of applicants to Westminster College were admitted for fall 2017

At Westminster College, 84 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Salt Lake City enrolled 2,570 students in fall 2017, including 2,030 in undergraduate and 540 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of Utah, and 46 percent are residents of other states. 4 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (71 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 1,702 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 23 percent enrolled.
