Eastern Arizona College enrolls 6,365 undergrads

At Eastern Arizona College, 54 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Thatcher enrolled 6,365 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 1.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arizona, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (20 percent).
