Cameron University enrolls 4,150 undergrads

At Cameron University, 63 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Lawton enrolled 4,524 students in fall 2017, including 4,150 in undergraduate and 374 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oklahoma, and 10 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (51 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (13 percent).
