The four-year public institution in Radford enrolled 9,418 students in fall 2017, including 8,418 in undergraduate and 1,000 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.
92 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia, and 7 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.
The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and Black or African American (17 percent).
The school admitted 74 percent of the 14,620 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 17 percent enrolled.
