At Saint Leo University, 68 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Saint Leo enrolled 13,099 students in fall 2017, including 9,671 in undergraduate and 3,428 in graduate programs, data shows. 17.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.
58 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 27 percent are residents of other states. 15 percent are citizens of foreign countries.
The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (34 percent) and white (34 percent).
The school admitted 58 percent of the 5,492 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 17 percent enrolled.
