The four-year public institution in Fort Pierce enrolled 17,598 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 1 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (53 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (23 percent).
