68 percent of applicants to Stetson University were admitted for fall 2017

At Stetson University, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in DeLand enrolled 4,252 students in fall 2017, including 3,065 in undergraduate and 1,187 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

66 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 27 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (61 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 68 percent of the 11,732 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 11 percent enrolled.
