Seminole State College of Florida enrolls 17,550 undergrads

At Seminole State College of Florida, 64 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Sanford enrolled 17,550 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 7.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of Florida, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (48 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (24 percent).
