45.5 percent of Olivet College students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017

In 2016-2017, 45.5 percentage of Olivet College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Olivet College has 1,177 undergraduate students, of which 58 percent are men and 42 percent are women, and a total student body of 1,224 students. Of these students, 377 men and 180 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Olivet College with the most participants are football (149), basketball (49) and wrestling (43).
