3.2 percent of University of the District of Columbia students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017

In 2016-2017, 3.2 percentage of University of the District of Columbia students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

University of the District of Columbia has 3,859 undergraduate students, of which 57 percent are women and 43 percent are men, and a total student body of 4,247 students. Of these students, 64 men and 72 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at University of the District of Columbia with the most participants are lacrosse (34), basketball (25) and soccer (22).
