University of Wyoming has 9,791 undergraduate students, of which 50 percent are men and 50 percent are women, and a total student body of 12,397 students. Of these students, 270 men and 226 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.
This total does not include students playing intramural sports.
According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.
The sports at University of Wyoming with the most participants are football (119), track and field, indoor (75) and track and field, outdoor (72).
