There were 73 on-campus burglaries in 2016 on the campus of Michigan State University, located in East Lansing, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.
In 2015, there were 83 burglaries on the campus; and in 2014, there were 124 burglaries. Overall, in the three year period from 2014 through 2016, 78 percent of on-campus burglaries happened in residence halls.
