There were 24 on-campus rapes in 2016 on the campus of Wesleyan University, located in Middletown, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.
In 2015, there were 17 rapes on the campus; and in 2014, there were 37 rapes. Overall, in the three year period from 2014 through 2016, 94 percent of on-campus rapes happened in residence halls.
