The University of Arkansas will play host to the Basic Exporting to Grow Your Small Business Sales workshop from 1-5 p.m. on Feb. 23.

The Walton College Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center, the Arkansas District Export Council and U.S. Export Assistance Center Arkansas are putting on the event, which will take place in the Reynolds Center for Enterprise Development on the university’s campus.

A way for small businesses to grow is to export internationally, and there are opportunities available to do so in Arkansas. This event will help business owners learn from experienced exporters, District Export Council members and the U.S. Export Assistance Center about worldwide opportunities.

The event will focus on market research, financing and logistics issues and how to choose the right country for goods and services.
