Miami University places in national animation program rankings

The website Animation Career Review (ACR) recently ranked the Miami University No. 25 in its national survey of graphic design programs.

The ranking was based on academic reputation, admissions selectivity, depth and breadth of the program faculty, tuition value, and student debt. ACR analyzed hundreds of schools in its search for the top 25. In announcing the ranking, the school touted the diversity of concentrations within its graphic design program, which includes business, communication, cultural studies, environmental design, interactive design, studio art, and perception and cognition.

The accolade is the second this year from ACR. In June, the website ranked the school's digital game studies program 33rd in the U.S., and 12th among public schools. The graphic design program is housed in the College of Creative Art's department of art.
