Alamo Colleges in San Antonio and Pierce College District in Lakewood, Washington, recently came to a transfer agreement with Ashford University, which will allow students from these two-year colleges to transfer their credits to Ashford to work towards a bachelor's degree.

As stated by divisional vice president of academic partnerships at Ashford University, Mark Young, the agreement will allow students to begin their college degree at the smaller, local colleges and then easily finish their degree at Ashford.

Ashford and the community colleges look forward to adding to the capabilities within higher education, and their partnership, which will begin in the first quarter of 2016, commemorates their dedication to it.
