The American Accounting Association (AAA) recently awarded Ashland University’s Kris Parsons its 2016 Outstanding Accounting Contributor Award, sponsored by the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, at the American Accounting Association Ohio Regional Meeting in Beechwood.
Parsons chairs the Accounting and Information Systems Department at Ashland University. AAA selected Parsons for her excellence in the advancement of accounting education.
Ohio Society of CPAs CEO Scott Wiley gave Parsons with her award in a presentation that also included AAA Ohio Region President David Stott and Kent State University Department of Accounting Chair Linda Zucca.
