Butler announces Most Outstanding Male and Female students

Butler University has announced that Chad Pingel and Rachel Hahn have been selected as the university’s Most Outstanding Male and Female students.

Pingel, a finance and marketing double-major from Des Moines, Iowa, will graduate with a 3.92 GPA. During his time at Butler, he has earned more than a dozen academic honors. He was president of the Student Government Association (SGA) in 2014-2015, served as the SGA’s Student Initiatives Board's director of academic affairs, and has worked in the office of administration since 2013. He is also a  member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

Hahn, a Spanish and communication sciences and disorders double-major from Zionsville, Indiana, has a 4.0 GPA of 4.0. He was the top student in communication sciences and disorders from 2013-15. Her extracurricular activities include participating in the SGA, Fall Alternative Break and three years as a resident assistant. She has been named Most Outstanding Resident Assistant twice and received the Woman of Distinction for 2016.
