Tulane hires Duitch as School of Continuing Studies dean

Suri Duitch was recently named dean of Tulane University's School of Continuing Studies and vice president for academic innovation.

Duitch is currently deputy to the senior university dean for academic affairs at City University of New York.

"Duitch will hold the additional title of vice president for academic innovation, assuming a leadership role in the development and deployment of new digital courseware and learning platforms for the university as a whole," Provost Michael Bernstein said.

Duitch holds a masters in Social Work from Hunter College–City University of New York and a Ph.D. in urban education from the City University of New York. She will assume her new position on Aug. 15.
